I love when the new year rolls in. It is so much to celebrate one year coming to an end and another starting out. Each year I do make it a point to try and come up with some resolutions that will help make my life easier or better. This year most of my resolutions have to do with fashion. I love fashion, but I am lazy. That means that I tend to look like a bum a lot of the time especially during the week when I am running late for work and just throw stuff on. So, here are my New Year’s fashion resolutions.
- I will not wear clothes that were balled up on the floor. I am so guilty of this one. I get in a rush and I resort to grabbing the first thing I can reach and using the sniff test. If it doesn’t smell, I will wear it wrinkles and all. I have got to stop that, and my next resolution should help.
- I will organize my closets and clothing so that I have plenty of space and don’t end up throwing all my stuff on the floor. When you don’t utilize the space you have to maximize the amount of clothes you can hang or put away, you end up like me. That means you have mounds and heaps of clothes just strewn about. Organizing my space will ensure that everything has a place.
- I will get rid of clothes that I never wear or that are ill-fitting. I have shirts and pants that are probably three sizes too big. I rarely wear these things because my boyfriend calls me a hobo when I do. Since that’s the case, it’s time they go on to someone who can wear them.
- I will plan ahead. My last goal is one that will not only help me to look better even during busy weeks, but it will also help me to keep my sanity. Each night I plan on getting my outfit ready for the next day. This means making sure it is wrinkle free too.
